Chidorigafuchi came highly recommended by all my coworkers. They said it was one of the best places in Tokyo for hanami (flower viewing), and would be perfect for very romantic date.
They were absolutely right! Not only were the Sakura lovely and fragrant, there were beautiful gardens filled with wild flowers, and streams flowering with petals to enjoy in the park. We enjoyed a beautiful day wandering around the park.
If you have the opportunity to go to Tokyo in late March/early April don’t miss your chance to see this beautiful park.

- Bring a jacket for flower viewing – It will probably be pretty cold
- Go early and rent a boat – we showed up in the afternoon, and the lines were too long
- The nearest stations are Hanzomon (along the subway line) and Kudanshita (on the Toei Shinjuku line)
