In my opinion, West End Espresso and Tea has the best espresso in San Luis Obispo, it’s never burned, and has an almost sweet mellow flavor.

- Located downtown along the creek
- Mixed seating – cozy chairs, and bar seating along the window which works great as a standing desk
- Art by local artists
- Great for people watching
Scout
Scout wins my award for most stylish coffee shop. I love the exposed brick, and organic elements. They also have the best cold brew coffee in SLO.
Features:
- Wifi – no time limit just ask for the password at the front desk
- Located just a couple blocks off downtown
- Great place to meet locals – this place can be pretty busy
- Fun to people watch – this is a great place for dates or to meet up with friends
Bello Mundo
My favorite feature of Bello Mundo is the “Community Space,” where you are required to unplug and enjoy the real world. They have a few board games and chess sets for you to enjoy.

- Wifi – Two hour limit per drink (Ask for a code when you order your coffee)
- Located in the middle of downtown
- No computer zone
- Art by local artists
- Amazing almond milk for dairy-free options
